First ep of Megaton-Kyuu Mushashi S2 and they did not skimp on the quality at all ^^

i'm just wondering how the game is holding up in Japan after a year of folks playing it.

without a huge honking heavy-duty multi-GB DLC, this season of the anime is going to surpass even the biggest console games' playable hours i've ever heard of.

Not sure on how it would hold up ether, but I know this will be under the radar for sure and hopes it will be consistent on the subbed translations since S1 was inconsistent + came out when ever

Question is it me or was Teru Asami cold when he found out he was a dad? I think he warmed up towards the end when asking the sex of the child but still if he loved her so much you would think he be happy they have a child not to mention he being science driven should have been over the moon with the prospect of raising a child of the stars.

Okay after watching this I went back to watch ep 13 of the 1st season to see why this didn't seem to pick up from that ending in my memory and after crying again at season 1 ending I am still confused on how it ended season 1 and started with this for season 2. Is this a manga I can look up to read so I can fully understand how it ended and picked up here?

no manga or LN yet that i'm aware of. it is based on a game from Japan (with the exact same title) that they're cross-promoting with this anime. so, think of it as an 'anime original' story that coincides/is the same but yet expands upon the story of the game.

there are a few changes/differences i've read about between the story in the anime and game. this is because the gameplay is ALMOST ENTIRELY centered around mecha fights, improving your mecha troops, and looking for resources for your shelter and new gear for your mecha.

it is a console game in Japan but i'm unsure if there is a PC version yet. also, the game has NO localization built into it for 'Western' players by the game developers. it is VERY popular in Japan and i read several game magazines in Japan reviewed it in a VERY positive manner. if the game gets 'officially' localized for the West, i will be HIGHLY surprised. since not unlike the first two SAO console games, it wasn't built originally to be played by folks who aren't fluent in Japanese.
